Neighboring communities to the west include Silt, Antlers, Rifle, Rulson, Parachute, and De Beque. Grand Junction is about 75 miles west of New Castle on Interstate 70.

• At River Park Condominiums are individually owned condos for sale. Grand River Park, the newest park in New Castle, is near the condo complex and has soccer fields, hiking and biking trails, river beach and wetlands.
